This guide is intended for JEUS Message Queue (hereafter, MQ) client developers and JEUS MQ server administrators.
This guide explains the overall concept of Java Message Service.
For more information about Java Message Service, refer to the relevant documents and "Java Message Service Specification - version 1.1".
This guide does not explain Java EE or Java specification details. For more information, refer to the relevant Java documents. Detailed information on how to use, manage, and operate JEUS system is contained in the product documentation.
For the basic information about JEUS system, refer to "JEUS Introduction" or "JEUS Installation and Getting Started Guide".
This document consists of six chapters and two appendices.
Introduces the Java Message Service, and describes the features of JEUS MQ.
"Chapter 2. JEUS MQ Client Programming"
Describes JEUS MQ client types, procedures for creating a client, and administered objects.
"Chapter 3. JEUS MQ Server Configuration"
Describes how to configure the JMS engines and resources used to run the JEUS MQ server.
"Chapter 4. JEUS MQ Clustering"
Describes the clustering technology that groups multiple servers together to reduce the loads of JEUS MQ servers and provide seamless services.
Describes how a JMS client can recover from a JEUS MQ server or network failure and re-establish the connection.
"Chapter 6. JEUS MQ Special Functions"
Describes the special functions of JEUS MQ, including Message Bridge, Message Sort, Global Order, Message Group, and Message Management.
"Appendix A. Additional Journal Store Properties"
Describes additional advanced properties for the journal store.
"Appendix B. JDBC Persistence Store Columns"
Describes the columns in the table that is generated when the Persistence store is set to JDBC in JEUS MQ.

This guide follows the UNIX style for all examples and screen configurations.
Users of other environments such as Windows can use this with a few considerations. For example, use the Windows style "\" as the directory delimiter instead of the UNIX style "/". Environment variables should also be changed to Windows style variables.
This guide primarily discusses Java, so most content should apply to all systems.
