This guide is intended for system administrators or developers who require detailed descriptions of the JEUS® (hereafter JEUS) configuration and usage.
To understand the basic usage and concepts of JEUS, refer to the following guides.
This guide includes examples and environment settings in UNIX. To use them in other environments such as Microsoft Windows™ (hereafter Windows), users need to consider several conditions.
For example, the Unix delimiter "/" should be replaced with the Windows delimiter "\". The environment variables also need to be specified using (%%). Note that JEUS_HOME referred to in this guide is the home directory of JEUS.
This guide concerns material based on Java SE, but it does not contain details about the Java EE specifications. For such details, see Java documentation.
While this guide covers detailed configurations and applications not included in other guides, it does not deal with XML configuration file. For more information about the file, refer to "XML Reference".
This document is organized so that users, who want to know about a certain part in detail, can easily find the desired information. There are no relationships between chapters or sections, thus the user can directly go to the desired section.
This guide consists of three parts.
Describes JEUS system properties.
Part II, "Console Commands and Tools"
Describes the console commands and tools.
Describes the Ant Task provided by JEUS.
