This guide is written for database administrators (DBA), system administrators and application program developers who will manage and configure initialization parameters, data dictionaries, and static and dynamic views of Tibero®.
In order to fully understand the guide, users need to have an understanding of the following technologies:
Database
RDBMS
SQL
This guide does not contain all information needed for the actual application or operation of Tibero, and therefore, for information related to the installation, configuration, operation and management refer to each relevant guide.

Tibero Reference Guide consists of four chapters and one appendix.
Descriptions for each are as follows:
Chapter 1: Introduction to Initialization Parameters
Briefly describes the concept of initialization parameter, and introduces initialization parameters supported by Tibero.
Chapter 2: Data Dictionary
Describes the concept, structure, reference and update procedure for the data dictionary.
Chapter 3: Static View
Briefly describes the static view provided by the Tibero data dictionary, and the columns in such view.
Chapter 4: Dynamic View
Briefly describes the dynamic view provided by the Tibero data dictionary, and the columns in such view.
Appendix A: Initialization Parameter Configuration Example
Describes initialization parameters that are set by default after installing Tibero.
