This guide intended for developers who choose to use the TDL(Tmax Dynamic Library) from Tmax®(hereafter Tmax) to develop programs. The TDL uses the dynamic library linking method provided by the OS to provide nondisruptive updates for application modules which frequently change.
This guide is the basis for an overall understanding of the Tmax system as well as learning about the various features and characteristics that Tmax provides.
To understand this guide smoothly, users must know the following:
Middleware and the UNIX system
Basic concepts of Tmax
Java and C programming
It is assumed that users have already known basic concepts of Tmax. For the specific details on how to use, manage, and operate it in practice, refer to each product's guide.
For basic information about developing the Tmax system, refer to "Tmax Administrator's Guide" or "Tmax Application Development Guide". For detailed information about commands of Tmax and C API, refer to "Tmax Reference Guide".
Tmax Programming Guide(Dynamic Library) consists of four chapters.
The following are descriptions for each.
Chapter 1: Introduction
Describes the basic concepts, features, and composition of the TDL.
Chapter 2: Usage and Management
Describes how to configure Tmax to use the TDL and system management tools.
Chapter 3: API
Describes basic APIs that the TDL provides and their usage.
Chapter 4: Example
Describes examples of API usage.
