This guide is intended for Tmax® (hereafter Tmax) application developers.
It describes the concepts, and the usage of commands and functions used to write a Tmax application.
This guide helps users gain a basic knowledge of the Tmax system and its features and characteristics.
Users must have knowledge of the following in order to understand this guide:
Middleware and UNIX systems
Basic concepts of Tmax
Java and C programming
This guide does not explain commands and functions for 4th-Generation Programming Languages (4GL). For information about how to use and manage Tmax, refer to the relevant guides.
For general information about the development of the Tmax system, refer to "Tmax Administrator's Guide" or "Tmax Application Development Guide".
This guide consists of three chapters and two appendices.
Descriptions for each are as follows:
Chapter 1: Overview
Presents a list and brief description of commands and functions.
Chapter 2: Commands
Describes the commands available in Tmax.
Chapter 3: Functions
Describes the functions available in Tmax.
Appendix A: Responding to Errors
Describes the errors that can occur in Tmax and how to resolve them.
Appendix B: Header File Example
Describes the header files of each module for Tmax-based programming.
