This guide is intended for Tmax® (hereafter Tmax) application developers.
This guide describes the application development process, the basic structure of client and server programs, and the use of Tmax APIs in application development. This guide also describes programming development methods for various environments and provides many examples to help the user understand this document.
This guide helps users gain a basic knowledge of the Tmax system and its features and characteristics.
The user must have knowledge of the following in order to understand this guide:
Middleware and UNIX systems
Basic concepts of Tmax
Java and C programming
This guide does not explain how to use, manage, and operate the Tmax system. For information about how to use and manage Tmax, refer to the relevant guides.
For general information about the development of the Tmax system, refer to "Tmax Administrator's Guide" . For more information about commands and the C API used by Tmax, refer to "Tmax Reference Guide".
This guide consists of 12 chapters and 1 appendix.

Describes the security system supported by Tmax.

Describes the APIs provided for Tmax client programs.
Chapter 10: Server API
Describes the APIs provided for Tmax server programs.
Chapter 11: Error Handling
Describes how to process and debug errors in the Tmax API.

Describes examples of using features provided by the Tmax system.
