This chapter describes main features of the [DASHBOARD] menu in the PDS detailed mode.

4.1. Asset Dashboard

You can view the dashboard displaying the composition of PDS assets.

  1. In the PDS detailed mode, go to the [DASHBOARD] menu.

  2. The Dashboard page opens and displays an overview of the entire composition of PDS assets.

The following describes each item provided by the dashboard.

    ItemDescription

    Total Assets

Total number of PDS member assets.

    Classification Threshold

Classification threshold for automatically classifying member assets in PDS.

You can change this threshold by adjusting slider. For more information about how to change the threshold, refer to "4.2. Changing Asset Types Automatically".

    Classified/Unclassified Assets

Types of classified assets and the number of classified/unclassified assets in PDS. The ratio of classified/unclassified assets to the total number of assets is displayed in a graph.

    Classified Assets (Method)

Number of the classified assets by each classification method

    • Automatic: Number of assets classified automatically through the classification model.

    • Manual: Number of assets classified manually by the user.

    Classified Assets (Type)

Number of classified assets by each classification type. This includes both automatic and manual classified assets, and presents the ratio of each classification type to the total number of classified assets in a graph.

4.2. Changing Asset Types Automatically

When a PDS is registered, the classification threshold is specified as 95%. If you adjust the classification threshold to a lower value, the member assets with classification probabilities exceeding the threshold are automatically classified.

Note

The classification threshold adjusts the classification type for each asset in PDS, based on the classification results derived from the Machine Learning (ML) classification model. In other words, if the highest value out of the classification probabilities for an individual asset exceeds the threshold, the asset is automatically classified into the type mapped to that probability.

For example, when the highest classification probability for an individual asset 'asset_1' is 0.85 and the type is JCL, if the classification threshold is 0.85 or lower, asset_1 is automatically classified as JCL. If the threshold is above 0.85, asset_1 is specified as unclassified.

  1. In the PDS detailed mode, go to the [DASHBOARD] menu.

  2. Adjusts the slider in the "Classification Threshold" on the Dashboard screen to set the threshold of the ML classification model. If you lower the current value by 5%, the number of additional automatically classified assets is displayed.

4.3. Editing Assets

You can add or delete member assets to/from the registered PDS.

  1. In the PDS detailed mode, go to the [DASHBOARD] menu.

  2. Click the [Edit Assets] button at the top right of the Dashboard screen.

  3. In the Edit Assets dialog box, the currently uploaded assets are listed. You can select the checkbox of the asset to add to the PDS or clear the checkbox of the asset to delete.

  4. After the selection is completed, click the [Edit] button to add or delete member assets. At this time time, the upload and preprocessing tasks are automatically performed and reflected in the PDS.

    Note

If there is the member asset in the PDS with the same name as the asset to be added, no additional task will be performed for the asset.

4.4. Saving Assets

If an asset or classification type has been modified, you can save the changes.

Note

It is recommended that all assets be classified when saving them.

  1. Change the asset composition in the [ASSET INFO] and [DASHBOARD] menus in the PDS detailed mode.

  2. When the [DASHBOARD] is being selected, clicking the [NEXT] button saves the assets.

If there are unclassified assets, the Save Assets dialog box opens. Clicking the [Save] button will save the assets.
